Tips for Use: Because our Bone Broth is made with natural ingredients and no additives, it can appear to ‘gel’ when cold. That’s a good thing! That means it is a powerhouse source of collagen and other nutrients.

To get your bone broth ready to drink, warm at a low to medium temperature. When it’s warm, you can sip, mix, blend, and savor in its liquid form.

If you have no gelatine: the bone broth might be liqued when you receive your package or when your refrigerator temperature is to high. Do not panic – just put the jars in the refrigerator and make sure the temperature is between 2 – 3 C.

BABS Chicken Bone Broth is made from free-range chicken bones and collagen-rich chicken claws (feet). We use an old, traditional recipe to ensure you enjoy a savory, tasty broth that can be enjoyed alone or as a base for soups, sauces, and other recipes.

The broth is simmered in filtered water with organic vegetables and herbs for over seven hours. As a result, our Chicken Bone Broth is high in collagen and tastes absolutely delicious. With that lovely traditional chicken broth taste, you’ll love adding it to risottos, stews, or even relishing as a warming, nourishing drink. We suggest heating yourself up a mug for a treat after a long day and adding to your favorite recipes. With the gelatin from the broth, your body will have an easier time absorbing the vitamins and minerals from your food, not to mention all the nutrition you’ll gain from the bone broth itself!

Our Chicken Bone Broth is pasteurized one time and so has a shelf life of two months.

Where the bones for BABS Chicken come from

We use a special breed of chicken that is slow-growing. Having plenty of time to grow and enjoy life leads to stronger, healthier chickens that don’t require antibiotics. You can taste the difference in the broth, which is rich and aromatic. It’s also very high in protein, thanks to these healthy chickens – 100 mL of the broth contains 14.8 grams of protein compared to 0.5 to 1.5 grams found in conventional chicken broths.

We simmer the bones in filtered water for between 24 and 32 hours without any vegetables or herbs. As a result, you can enjoy a broth with a mild flavor, which you can add to your coffee, smoothies, oatmeal, soups, hot drinks, sauces, stir-fry dishes, and really any food you’d like, whether sweet or savory. The pure, clean taste won’t change the flavor of your food at all.

In fact, we make our unflavored broth so you can add it to your cooking, enhancing your food with extra nourishment, providing your body with healthy collagen, and boosting digestion.
