- 1 jar of beef bone broth
- 250ml water
- 4 small onions
- 1 clove of garlic
- 15ml olive oil
- Pinch of chili flakes
- Pinch of Italian herbs
- Salt and pepper to taste
- (low-carb) bread + 50 grams of grated cheese
- Spring onions to taste
Chop the garlic finely and the onions into half rings. Heat the olive oil in a stockpot and season with the garlic and chili flakes.
Fry the half onion rings until they turn brown. Then add the beef bone broth and the water and let it simmer on low heat for 10 minutes. Season to taste with Italian herbs, salt and pepper.
Preheat the oven to 190 degrees. Divide the grated cheese over the bread and let it melt in the oven. Then place the bread in the onion soup and garnish with spring onions.
